Velvet Membership & postage.
This is an outline of a possible future paid member offer. It is recorded clearly before recurring checkout is switched on, but it is not a live membership and cannot be used.
Not yet purchasable. You cannot buy, start or rely on this plan yet. These are proposed terms only. Stripe subscription checkout, automatic renewal and the postage benefit remain off until Stripe test setup, final operations and Victorian legal review are complete.
Member-included standard postage
The proposed benefit is one standard-postage contribution each membership month, capped at $12 AUD, on an eligible direct Velvet Directory purchase. It is not unlimited free delivery. Oversized, fragile, express, insured, remote-area or otherwise excluded delivery will be shown separately and quoted before checkout where needed.
The final terms will say which direct listings qualify, who funds the delivery contribution, how it is applied at checkout, when it expires and how it is reversed if the associated paid order is cancelled or refunded.
Trial, renewal and cancellation
Before a member starts a trial, the live checkout must state the trial end date, automatic renewal, amount, billing timing, cancellation instructions and access after cancellation. A subscription will not be started until these details are configured and displayed at checkout.
What membership does not change
Velvet Membership does not buy Provenance Marks, guarantee a seller’s conduct, remove consumer rights, guarantee item availability, create an entitlement to a buyer offer, or include a benefit not shown at the time of joining. The 10% tablescaping saving applies to the approved service amount for a signed-in member request, not separately quoted travel.
Before this plan becomes live: the owner must claim the Stripe test environment, test the subscription flow, settle the delivery process and obtain legal review. See the Legal Information hub for the related working drafts.
